We have created a new set of simple and functional tools at tools.randompicker.com to help you quickly perform tasks that you would normally do using macros or formulas in your spreadsheet.
The initial release includes:
Random Number Generator
This tool produces random numbers within a selected range, with optional prefixes and postfixes, and with or without duplicate values.
Use cases: Create ticket numbers or unique identifiers.
Note: This tool is separate from the main RandomPicker.com RNG and uses fast pseudorandom numbers generated by a different server.
Random Name Generator
This tool quickly generates lists of names (first name, last name, gender, country). Currently, US names are available, and we will add more countries soon.
Use cases: Generate sample data for testing, create dummy data, or use in games.
Number Series Generator
This tool creates sequences of numbers with optional prefixes and postfixes, odd/even numbers, step increments, and other adjustments.
Use cases: Generate sequential tickets, create batch codes for products, or prepare numbered lists for events or assignments.
These tools are designed to be straightforward and easy to use and are currently available for free. They can save time compared to setting up formulas in Excel for the same tasks.
